Demineralizing mixed bed cartridges
for laboratories, institutes, hospitals, industry, electronics and air humidifying systems.
The ION-EX mixed bed cartridges are the highly efficient, easy to handle technical solution for the demineralization of tap or drinking water. The system can be easily mounted directly to the water tap without any further preparatory work. The untreated tap water flows through the resin filling of the cartridge, so that an ion exchange takes place. The ION-EX cartridges can demineralize water up to a conductivity of less than 0.1µS/cm. The quality of the ultra pure water is ascertained and monitored at the outlet by means of a conductivity meter. The ion exchanger resins used can be regenerated and, if necessary, exchanged at our company.
Demineralizing cartridges made of stainless steel
The external material of the cartridge is made of robust stainless steel, warrants a high crushing strength (up to 10 bar) and is perfectly suitable for the occasional transport to our regenerating station. The smooth surface can be easily cleaned, so that also severe hygienic requirements are met. The opaque external skin prevents the formation of algae inside the cartridge. The cartridge is protected against damages by a hard rubber ring each at the top and at the bottom, with integrated grips at the upper ring for transport.

Function:
The water flowing through the cartridge from top to bottom runs through a filling of ion exchange resins.These bound the icons dissolved in the water, such as sults or metals, and exchange them against H or OH ions.
With the help of a special distribution system the water flows in an optimum way through the resin filling covering the entire diameter of the cartridge to ensure a high yield of the resin capacity.
